Every blogger should be aware that SEO is one of the important things he should know and be aware of it. So what does SEO mean? and why its very important? How can you make your blog/website SEO friendly?

The first thing you should know and understand very well is the SEO meaning, maybe you have a good blog/website with a valued content that are very informative. But you don't get that much of visitors you deserve for your efforts. At this point you should ask your self what is wrong with your blog and how you can improve it with SEO.

Which is improving your blog/website html and make it more SEO friendly. Sure you are wondering how to do that. But first you should know that this step is very easy and not very scary as it seems. All you need to do is make your HTML more friendly to search engines.

in order to make your HTML seo friendly, you should improve the followings :

• Post titles
• Blog/website content
• Web/blog design ( should be very easy to the visitor to surf on your web/blog )
• Meta tags
• Keywords

Off-page optimization 

This is the 2nd SEO category, and this category are known as uncontrollable category. Why? because it will be improved automatically by the search engines, and you have nothing to do to improve it by your self. When i say that, of course i don't mean the "Black hat SEO methods " . What i mean is the legal optimization.

What are the important factors on off-page optimization ?

There are many factors that will help your blog/web to get optimized. But the most important ones are the followings :

• Backlinks
• Pagerank

backlinks are all the links that links to your web/blog, if someone is writing about a subject that you already talked about it on your blog/web, and already saw that your post was very informative and helpful and he could need it for his topic, he may post a link of your post on his blog/web post. Which is useful for you because the more backlinks you have, the more your web/blog will be known on search engines and this will help improve your pagerank.

And about the pagerank, as i already said, if you have more sites that links to your blog/web. Your pagerank will get improved. And if you have a good pagerank, your topics/posts will have more chance to be on the first search engines results when someone is searching about theme. So always try to write a unique and informative content. Like that you will have more chance to get some backlinks and avoid the spam and illegal ways to post backlinks. This will only decrease your blog/site importance for search engines.
